Job Info

The main responsibility of the Receiving Clerk is to ensure the material received is accurately counted and documented noting any discrepancies and to deliver material to appropriate department.

· Receive Frames / Legs on physical receiving ticket as well as into the computer accurately.

· Help unload truck and move material to correct location.

· Keep work area neat and organized.

· Works closely with purchasing and inventory control.

· Other duties as assigned by Manager

· Must be able to read and comprehend English.

· Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 100 lbs.

· Must be fast paced.

· Must be able to use a computer and hand held scanner.

· Must have good vision.

· Must have basic math skills.

· Must be a Team Player with a positive attitude.

· Must be able to work with minimum supervision.

· Must have your own reliable transportation.

· Must be able to stand / walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.

· Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime.

· Must be reliable.

· Must have strong skills in the following areas:

o Reading (English)

o Comprehending (English)

o Speaking

o Writing

o Communication

· Must have experience in receiving.

· Experience reading a receiving ticket is a plus.

· Must adhere to all Safety rules and requirements and take adequate control measures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.

· Must be able to wear the following required PPE:

o Safety Glasses

o Gloves when required

Working conditions are the normal conditions found in a furniture plant, ventilated indoor area.

· Concrete floor

· Heated and Cooled working Environment

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

One location in Conover, NC.

· Typical schedule is Monday – Thursday from 6a – 3:30pm and Friday from 6a – 10am.

· You must be able to work Overtime, and Weekends as needed.
