Technical Account Manager (Medical Stainless-Steel Tubing)

Summary

Responsible to generate new sales and provide sales support to existing customers of INJECTA's precision tubes and tube sections, special cannulas, needle point forms, and tubular components for medical applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.

  • Travel to customer sites throughout the assigned territory (all of the US) to promote and increase sales of INJECTA's product line and services.
  • Provide quotations to present solutions to customers.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers to ensure their satisfaction with existing products and explore opportunities to offer additional products.
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Web Sites, and other sources.
  • Display or demonstrate product to customers using samples and/or catalog.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and manage expenses via Concur Software.
  • Attend national and regional trade shows as well as international sales meetings.
  • Responsible to log all customer interactions/activities in the CRM such as appointments, quotes, samples, etc.
  • Responsible to log all customer business opportunities in the SAP-C4C Sales Funnel.
  • Attend sales training, refresher courses, and new product introduction presentations as required.
  • Work/communicate directly with INJECTA Germany on all opportunities to ensure efficient and effective solutions for business opportunities.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from a four-year college or university; and two to three years related experience and/or training with medical stainless steel precision tubing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word Processing and Microsoft PowerPoint software.
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, walk, sit, talk or hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • This position requires up to 90% national travel and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Some international travel for sales meetings and training
