We are currently seeking a Technical Manager - Data Integration / Data Engineering to join our team in Quincy, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

Technical Manager Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Lead a team of data engineers / ETL developers for delivering key projects and provide support in production
• Build a culture of continuous learning and nimbleness to rapidly adapt new methodologies and technologies
• Drive technology solutions that enable data integrations for NTT DATA's customer(s)
• Participate & contribute in defining / adjusting data integration strategies including migration to Cloud
• Ensure excellence and innovation in implementing data engineering and data integration solutions
• Ensure all work produced by the development team is properly reviewed and meets company standards
• Work closely with project managers during all phases of the development lifecycle to ensure solutions are delivered consistently on time and on budget
• Collaborate and partner with data architect(s) to develop and implement solutions optimally
• Collaborate and partner with Operations on software and hardware migrations/upgrades to ensure zero disruption to the business
• Estimate, Forecast and plan resources to align with demand
• Perform technical and or non-technical screenings to help the organization hire the right talent
• Define, manage and evaluate team members on goals and performance metrics
• Provide guidance and insight to upper management on on-going development, implementation, and production issues
• Establish and own governance around production break fix and enhancement development & deployment
• Establish and own governance on cross project technical dependencies and release & deployment in production

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• 10 years' experience in the Information Technology in Data Management domain - Data Warehouse, ETL and Business Intelligence areas
• 5 years' or more in technical management of data engineering teams / function in ETL Domain

Other Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of DataStage, Teradata, Oracle Linux, or compatible
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure capabilities especially in the data space, working experience is a plus

• Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
• Exceptional communication and reporting skills
• Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively
• Extensive experience in technical management, preferably in a healthcare industry
• Solid working knowledge in relational databases, SQL and programming languages
• Experience with Production Support protocols and SLAs
• Demonstrated ability to motivate staff and inculcate innovative thinking
• Thorough understanding and delivery experience using agile project management methodologies like Scrum
• Forward thinking and strong abilities in relationship management

• Evidence of continuing education, such as certifications, a plus
• Knowledge of Healthcare Industry, preferably Health Insurance, including HIPAA and other regulatory regimes
• MBA or Masters degree preferred
