Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Technical Services Representative to join our team in the Midwest market.

Job Summary

The Technical Services Representative is responsible for leading and providing technical service and support on Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation (CSFI) products to our customers. This role requires an considerable amount of travel - primarily throughout the Midwest but travel to other regions may be required, based on business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide technical assistance to partners and customers on Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation products. Support will include phone, email, and on-site field visits.
* Provide sales with support to both direct and distribution customers.
* Provide authorized applicator training using the Carlisle SFI application program.
* Support product management team by conducting ease of use evaluations on company and competitor products.
* Support R&D in new product evaluations internally and externally with customers.
* Support product management with codes, standards, and regulations.
* Participate in cross-functional teams where new technology might be developed.
* Act in accordance with company policies and best practices.

Working Conditions:

* Work may take place at customer work sites with possible exposure to the outside environment, including high and low temperature extremes.
* Significant travel is required, which necessitates the ability to drive/ride long distances in a motor vehicle.
* When doing training on the spray foam application process, the wearing of PPE will be required which may include respirator, protective suit, gloves, and eye protection.
* When not working at a job site, work can be done in a home office that has been outfitted to allow for the use of Teams meetings and provides a sufficient level of internet access and bandwidth.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
* Comprehensive understanding of building science principles and best practices
* Effective oral and written communication skills. A high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups required. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
* Demonstrated focus on delivering optimal customer service directed at meeting customer needs and company goals and objectives is required.
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint); other web-based applications such as Customer Relations Management Systems, etc. is required.
* Demonstrated record of influencing key external stakeholders in the design process.
* Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time and safely operate a company-provided vehicle.

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an applicator spraying polyurethane insulation systems with at least 1 year of technical troubleshooting experience with Graco, PMC, and/or other manufacturers' equipment.
* Direct experience with SPF wall insulation, coatings, building envelope systems, knowledge of building codes, HERS ratings a plus.
