Overview

U Pull-&-Pay (UPAP) is a dynamic company with a nationwide network of retail self-serve used auto parts stores. As a customer focused organization, UPAP exists to provide low cost, used auto parts to our customers. Our inventory and interchange information services enhance the customer experience. Customers bring their own tools into UPAP stores and remove valuable auto parts from an environmentally processed inventory of autos. These auto parts are purchased according to a specific price list shared with our customers. UPAPs inventory of autos is rotated continuously.

Responsibilities

• Drive tow truck to transport vehicles to Florida UPAP locations
• Observe all traffic laws and maintain a safe speed for the weather and road conditions
• Properly follow UPAP and OSHA safety standards
• Perform daily inspection of tow truck and immediately report any defects or needed repairs
• Adhere to strict maintenance schedule
• Ensure UPAP location is secure when dropping off vehicles after normal business hours

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid drivers license and a record of safe driving
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Minimum 1 year tow truck operation experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Dependable and consistent; able to meet attendance policy
• Physical ability to operate the tow truck and hoist vehicles as needed
• Effective verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external customers
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
