RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for a Transportation Planner for a short-term contract opportunity in Kansas City, KS. Summary:The ideal candidate is someone who is versatile, can manage a number of tasks, who is analytical, communicates well and thinks outside of the box. The client is looking for a Transportation Planner who enjoys working well with others and utilizing systems to improve processes, but who isn't afraid of the repetitiveness of daily tasks.REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong analytical and record keeping focus with a great attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Highly efficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 Suite applications
- Experience utilizing various customer scheduling portals and TMS platforms
- Experience reviewing carrier and load financials (accessorial review)
- Review and audit submitted accessorial rate requests against internal contracted rates
- Experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
