Responsible for monitoring agents, providing feedback, serving as product expert, sharing best practices, coaching behaviors, and guiding agents to success. As a Team lead you will also manage scheduling and schedule adherence for their assigned team.

Essential Functions

  • Trains and coaches employees and keeps management informed of issues.
  • Supervises departmental work activities and ensures scheduling adherence to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintains knowledge of insurance products and serves as subject matter expert.
  • Ensures compliance with AAA policies, procedures, standards and regulations.
  • Monitors, audits and reports daily team and individual performance statistics and provides efficiency improvement recommendations to management.
  • Supports the Business Manager in goal setting, on-going performance feedback and evaluation and documentation of performance for assigned employees.
  • Assists in the development, updating and implementation of disciplined operating practices.
  • Participates in the recruitment process of potential employees including but not limited to screening applicants, interviewing, and employment decision.


  • Leadership capability overseeing non-direct reports.
  • Outstanding sales and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bi-lingual communication skills (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed sales goals. (Preferred)
  • Operations management experience (Preferred)

Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification

  • Sales and/or service experience
  • Supervisory experience in travel, retail sales, insurance or service industry. Comparable experience in a team lead capacity may also be considered. (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • P&C License (Preferred)
  • Experience in an outbound insurance environment (Preferred)
  • Experience with a sales retention team (Preferred)
  • Insurance industry knowledge helpful, but not required

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

  • Approximately 50-80 percent of the time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer.
  • Must be able to understand and follow complex instructions
