You have a passion for building great products. You are curious to learn about how people do their jobs, and what is most important to them. You enjoy solving problems by breaking them into smaller pieces and sweating the details. You enjoy working across an organization with developers, product managers, customer support, onboarding, and more.

As a Business Analyst, you would be responsible for participating in critical aspects of the Updox software development lifecycle.

• Working closely with Product Managers and others to develop detailed product requirements
  
• Becoming a subject matter expert on the products you work on
  
• Understanding and complying with business processes and procedures
  
• Conducting market and product research
  
• Analyzing business needs
  
• Crafting solutions to interesting health care challenges
  
• Creating and maintaining project documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  
• Working daily with development engineers, design, quality assurance, and product management

Updox is located in the heart of Dublin, Ohio at Bridge Park, just above Pins and 16-bit Bar and Arcade. Our collaborative, open-plan office space is filled with lots of sunshine and a talented team who are passionate about what we do and enjoy taking care of our customers. Our ideal candidate will already be local to the Central Ohio area, but we will consider talent from across the United States. You must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship in order to qualify for this role.

Experience and skills we are seeking:

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst or equivalent experience working in the software industry
  
• Ability to determine target audience and create communications that are clear, concise and understandable
  
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external associates
  
• Must have very strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Requires the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  
• Must have a passion to learn new things and problem solve
  
• Familiar with using JIRA and being an advocate for Agile software development practices
  
• Must be detail oriented
  
• Willing to travel occasionally to visit with users on-site
  
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) or health care experience would bring your resume to the top of the list
