Pond's PLACE Team (Planning, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering) is growing, and we are looking for Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Interns to join our team. If you like working in a collaborative environment, where your peers and leaders provide meaningful feedback, and where you will be able to expand your design skills, we have a great internship opportunity for you!

Our ideal candidate is someone who has passion to grow and learn within a fast-paced environment with a curiosity to learn more about our profession. This person would be based in either our Atlanta, GA or Jacksonville, FL office and be an integral part our PLACE team. They will be mentored by experienced landscape architects, architects, planners, and engineers with a wide range of backgrounds. We anticipate the internship beginning in May 2023 and lasting at a minimum through August. We are very interested in candidates who seek a longer-term internship through December 2023.

Pond's PLACE Team is an innovative group of planners, landscape architects, and civil engineers who work collaboratively in a dynamic setting. Our team is located throughout multiple offices in the Southeast, and our projects range in scale from small pocket parks to planning for downtowns to mixed-use and multi-family developments. Job Qualifications

  • A student that has completed at a minimum their third-year coursework in an undergraduate program or second year coursework in a master's program from an accredited college or university in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or Urban Planning.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Proficiency in Civil3D, ArcGIS, Rhino, and Lumion preferred.
  • Team player who wants to be exposed to all aspects of the profession.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

In the event that EO 14042 is reissued, Pond shall take steps to implement any updated Task Force guidance that is published in the Federal Register and determined by the Director of OMB to promote economy and efficiency in Federal contracting.

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Urban Designer Co-Op with a salary range of $16.70 - $22.20 .
