Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Frontend and Fuel Services is building NextGen Mobile & In-store Financial Services Applications across the Walmart US, International stores and Sam's Club, eCommerce, and Store Systems to create best in class customer experience. Our goal is to build a modern and omni-channel platform to improve speed, reduces fraud and overall infrastructure cost.

We are seeking a Senior Manager II to lead Front-end solutions for Frontend and Fuel Services with a focus on Financial Services This role will help define Walmart's Technology Strategy, Vision, Roadmap in one or multiple domains. This role will drive Engineering and Technology excellence through establishing and promoting reusable principles, patterns, frameworks, technology decisions engaging in critical technology initiatives as well of people responsibilities for team structure, mentorship, career development and coaching.

This role will play an important part to foster a great development community, educate and grow the team.

This role will partner with our Global Tech Sr. Leadership and Engineering/Product/Service teams. If you enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment and influencing the strategic direction of a large global organization, this position will provide you with a challenging opportunity.

This critical role will be responsible for the technology and architecture strategy of one or multiple domains: Mobile and Web Solution, DevOps/Dev Productivity, Multi-Cloud/Infrastructure, Data Platform/AL/ML, DR, Application Technology.

What You'll Do:

As a technical leader on this team, you'll influence, coach, and be a servant leader to multiple teams participating and contributing in transforming products and platforms in this space. You will be part of the team leading software design and implementation, problem-solving, leading consistency across our team in quality standards, ensuring our teams adhere to architecture principles, research, and propose creative ideas that allows our teams to solve problems faster and provide engineering efficiency as they work with our customers to deliver world-class software solutions.

Key technologies/experience

• React Native, Kotlin, IOS - Swift and Objective C, JavaScript, Redux
• People management, cross functional project coordination, agile development practices

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related field OR 7 years' experience in software
engineering or related field.
2 years' supervisory experience.

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related field
