At LexisNexis, UX designers are strongly focused on collaboration with their cross-functional teams. Our UX designers work closely with product analysts and UX researchers throughout their process to ensure we solve the right problems in the right ways to deliver valuable solutions to our customers. They also work closely with product managers and tech leads to align solutions to the business strategy, identify success metrics, and ensure solutions fully utilize the technological capabilities of their team.
We're currently seeking designers to work on our flagship legal research products, tools that help attorneys conduct research, draft legal documents, glean insights from analytics, and much more. We are looking for designers who have experience partnering working within cross-functional teams are strong advocates for user-centered design principles and methodologies. Innovation and experimentation are not only encouraged but expected.

Customer/User Focus: Builds a deep understanding of our customers, their use cases, and their emerging needs. Ensures we are solving the right problems and delivering maximum value to customers.
Creative Problem Solving: Leverages competitive analysis, user data, and inspiration sources to independently identify multiple potential solutions to a problem.
Product Design: Translates customer needs and business needs into journey maps and wireframed experiences.
Data Driven: Utilizes qualitative feedback, quantitative data, and business analytics to inform design decisions. Works with cross-functional team to establish and track success metrics.
- 2-4 years of relevant UX design experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferred field of study - UX design, industrial design, or interaction design)
- Communicates powerfully and prolifically, mapping design decisions to desired outcomes
- Experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
- Experience using UX design software (XD, Sketch, Figma, Axure, etc.)
- Understands responsive design and the nuances of designing for different platforms
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience utilizing or creating design systems that align to web and UX best practices
