RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Louisville, KY that is seeking a UX Designer.Responsibilities:- The UX Designer will gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- As a UX Designer, you will develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- The UX Designer will adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree
- Less than 5 years of technical experience
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Proven work experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Figma, Wireframe.cc, InVision)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Proven work with Microsoft out of the box UI kits e.g. Sharepoint, Powerapps, etc.
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Proactive, curious, independent worker with good time-management skills, who will challenge others with solid UX thinking
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
