Adecco is currently recruiting for a Track/Vehicle Operator in the Mount Pleasant, PA area. Our client is one of the leading companies in the self-driving industry! It's a great opportunity to learn about this company and have the potential to grow with them!
The main responsibility is safely operating a vehicle for eight hours per day collecting data for engineering, operations, and several other sub-teams.
This is an open-ended contract. Mon-Fri, 40 hour work week, daylight hours. Pay rate-$18/hour

What you'll do:

  • Operate motor vehicles to assist with vehicle testing on the test track
  • Perform vehicle inspections pre and post shift
  • Set up equipment on track to aid in testing and vehicle training activities. Assist with equipment breakdown and proper storage
  • Communicate via two-way radio and messaging systems effectively between track users
  • Perform general maintenance duties of test track grounds and testing equipment
  • Assist with coordination efforts between track activities
  • Read and understand vehicle test plans and follow written and/or verbal test procedures
  • Provide test support as an actor, cyclist, or other form of realistic scenarios
  • Follow safe work practices and safely operate a motor vehicle
    • What you'll need to succeed:
  • No degree necessary
  • Flexible schedule to assist with testing at different times during the day
  • Detail oriented mindset with a focus on safety, procedure, and organization
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of and comfortable with using basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record over the last 3 years
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Able to follow written and verbal directions given by the supervisor or customer
  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather and outdoor environments
  • Must have smart phone
