We are growing rapidly and are searching for a Vice President to lead the Fraud Operations team, manage its day-to-day operations, and expand into additional areas and operational teams in the future. You will ensure industry-leading performance and compliance with all regulations. This includes tasks related to player identification, fraud prevention, player account adjustments, and anti-money laundering. Sounds good to you? Join us.
What you'll do as a Vice President, Fraud Operations:

  • Design, oversee, and lead a multi-year strategy that establishes DraftKings as an industry leader in the Fraud Operations area (as well as future named areas/teams).
  • Design and lead a scalable and efficient organizational structure, maximizing the skills of our talented internal teams while enabling significant growth.
  • Develop and oversee goals, KPIs, and performance metrics to enable an outstanding customer experience, both internally and externally.
  • Integrate and lead an outsource support staff service provider to ensure effective resourcing during peak seasonal volumes.
  • Partner with a cross-functional group to design, build and implement next-generation back-office processing systems to maximize efficiency, improve customer interactions, and manage risk.
  • Enhance and own agreed SLAs for the Fraud Operations business across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Develop and optimize fraud-related processes while remaining current on emerging trends and industry best practices.
  • Partner with the Regulatory Operations and Compliance teams on a variety of tasks including procedural changes, investigations, reporting, filing SARs, fraud reports, and other regulatory requirements on all verticals.
  • This leadership role will expand into additional operational teams / areas that will be determined over time.

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of e-commerce experience specifically focusing on fraud prevention and investigations. Knowledge of the gaming industry and relevant regulations is a plus.
  • Multiple years experience setting multi-year strategies, initiatives to achieve, and management systems to exceed goals.
  • Multiple years of experience leading and rapidly scaling large teams (100+ FTE) across multiple geographies and jurisdictions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, people leadership, and communication skills within a matrixed environment.
  • Experience in product management to deliver systems and capabilities for the business.
  • Experience managing external staffing/resourcing organizations.
  • Experience with 3rd party risk management systems or fraud solution providers.
  • Experience with various payment systems and their risks and dispute resolution processes.
  • Critical thinking, creative problem solving, natural curiosity, and passion for the job are essential in this role.
  • Experience with SQL or other relational database query language skills, able to run complex queries for pulling data a plus.
  • Ability to lead in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment to include taking on additional responsibilities, strategic areas and operational teams
