Job Title: Vice President - Sprinkler Operations

The primary function of this role is to direct and manage all operations of the Sprinkler Operations Division. This includes direct management of some Branch Managers, Safety Manager, Contracts/Insurance Manager, Project Managers and Field Manpower Coordination. Responsible for creating annual operating and sales budgets and achieving budgeted results. Develop policies and procedures for operational processes and ensure compliance throughout the entire division. This position reports to the President/CEO and is a member of the Senior Management Team.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management to the Sprinkler Operations Departments that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.
  • Responsible for driving the Sprinkler Operations Departments to achieve the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external of the Sprinkler Operations Departments.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes within the Sprinkler Operations Departments.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the organization.
  • Assists the President/CEO in the successful growth of the company as a member of the Senior Management Team.
  • Review and approve, as required, sprinkler, fire suppression and backflow system blue prints.
  • Oversee the Safety Department.
  • Oversee the Contracts/Insurance Department.
  • Oversee the Branch Offices Sprinkler Operations.
  • Oversee Project Managers, Project Manager Trainees.
  • Write and present simple memos, summaries, business letters, technical reports, speeches, and formal presentations that pertain to the Sprinkler Operation functions of the Company.
Qualifications:

Education / Work Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or related field is required.
  • Master's Degree in Business, Sales, or related field is a plus.
  • 10+ years in the fire protection industry is required.
  • 5+ years in a management or supervisory role is required.
  • Significant experience with Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is required.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 13, 17, 17A, 25, and 72.
  • NICET certification is a plus.
Computer Skills:
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel) applications required.
